Jonathan P. Spratte submitted the enverb package. Version number: 1.0 2024-08-28 License type: lppl1.3c Summary description: Read an environment verbatim Announcement text:
enverb provides the `\enverb` macro that grabs the current environment's body verbatim. It supports grabbing an optional argument in the normal category code regime without wrongly tokenising the first token. Arbitrary contents can be placed at the start and end of each input line. The contents are stored inside `\enverbBody` for direct output or further processing. Convenience macros are provided to rescan the contents to execute them as if used directly inside the document (`\enverbExecute`), or to put them into another verbatim environment for pretty printing (`\enverbListing`).
This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/enverb More information is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/enverb CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs

enverb – Read an environment verbatim

This package allows you to collect the contents of an environment verbatim, and provides that inside the macro \enverbBody. What you then do with that content is up to you. It also allows you to place arbitrary content at the start and end of each line (which doesn’t have to be verbatim). The two convenience macros \enverbExecute and \enverbListings can be used to typeset the contents and wrap the contents inside another verbatim environment, respectively.
