README
TU CV ----- 1 - Introduction TUCV is a LaTeX package for producing a CV or resume. It is based upon the shaded resume style, originally by Matthew Boedicker. The capabilities it provides are inspired by the University of Tulsa's Cyber Corps resume format; it is inclined to produce a somewhat lengthy, detailed document. Up to date source files for this package are available at its bitbucket repository at <https://bitbucket.org/duplico/tu-cv>. Detailed documentation can be found in tucv.pdf, which may also be generated by running pdflatex on tucv.dtx. Source and PDF output of a sample CV with dummy content is provided in tucv_ex.tex and tucv_ex.pdf. 2 - Installation Dependencies: array, calc, color, fancyhdr, xparse. The tucv package provides a single style, tucv.sty, which is generated by running latex on tucv.ins. To use, place tucv.ins in a directory searched by the latex compiler. 3 - Acknowledgments 3.1 - TU Resume Format The format of the sample CV and the document style that guided the adaptation of this package is based upon the University of Tulsa Institute for Information Security and Cyber Corps program's de facto resume format, which is the work, among others, of: o Alexander Barclay http://www.alexbarclay.net o Christopher Swenson http://www.caswenson.com 3.2 - LaTeX Package This style is based upon the shaded resume template that is the work of: o Matthew Boedicker <matthewm@boedicker.org> http://matthewm.boedicker.org/ o David J Grant <davidgrant-at-gmail.com> http://www.davidgrant.ca o Todd C Miller <Todd.Miller@courtesan.com> http://www.gratisoft.us/todd/ o George Louthan <georgerlouth@nthefourth.com> http://georgerloutha.nthefourth.com 4 - License This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. tucv – Support for typesetting a CV or résumeé
The package provides commands for typesetting a CV or résumé. It provides commands for general-purpose headings, entries, and item/description pairs, as well as more specific commands for formatting sections, with explicit inclusion of school, degree, employer, job, conference, and publications entries.
It tends to produce a somewhat long and quite detailed document but may also be suitable to support a shorter résumé.
The package relies on a ‘sufficiently recent’ copy of the l3kernel and l3packages bundles.
