The fixdif
package provides an interface for defining the style of differential operators.
The basic commands are:
\d
: for differential operator "d" in math mode and under-dot accent in text;\partial
: a "fixed" partial differential operator command;\letdif
: an interface for defining new commands for differential operators;\mathdif
: a commmand in math mode, you can use it just like\mathop
, etc.

fixdif – Macros for typesetting differential operators
This package redefines the \d command in LaTeX and provides an interface to define new commands for differential operators.
It is compatible with pdfTeX, XeTeX and LuaTeX, and can also be used with the unicode-math package.
