ascmac
The bundle provides boxes and picture macros, derived from Japanese pLaTeX distribution. These macros and fonts were originally developed by ASCII MEDIA WORKS, and now maintained by Japanese TeX Development Community.

- Support pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX.
- Fix several bugs in
\ovaldrawings, which are used inscreenenvironment and\keytop. - Made compatible with the package "pict2e".

ascmac – Boxes and picture macros with Japanese vertical writing support
The bundle provides boxes and picture macros with Japanese vertical writing support. It uses only native picture macros and fonts for drawing boxes and is thus driver-independent.
Formerly part of the Japanese pLaTeX bundle, it now supports all LaTeX engines.
