Navigator offers access to PDF features such as: anchors, outlines (bookmarks), links and actions, embedded files, and raw PDF code. It works with all formats (some limitations in ConTeXt), and with pdfTeX, LuaTeX and XeTeX (i.e. xdvipdfmx), trying to implement a similar behavior between those drivers. It requires texapi and YaX, both v.1.03. Relevant information can be found in navigator-doc.pdf. The files in this distribution are: navigator.tex The bulk of the code. navigator.sty A wrapper file for LaTeX. t-navigator.tex A wrapper file for ConTeXt. navigator-doc.pdf The manual. navigator-doc.tex The source of the manual. Licensing of this package is covered by LPPL.

navigator – PDF features across formats and engines
Navigator implements PDF features for all formats (with some limitations in ConTeXt) with pdfTeX, LuaTeX and XeTeX (i.e. xdvipdfmx). Features include:
- Customizable outlines (i.e. bookmarks);
- Anchors;
- Links and actions (e.g. JavaScript or user-defined PDF actions);
- File embedding (not in ConTeXt);
- Document information and PDF viewer's display (not in ConTeXt); and
- Commands to create and use raw PDF objects.
Navigator requires texapi and yax, both version at least 1.03.
