syntonly – Run a document through LaTeX for syntax checking
The package provides a command \syntaxonly that suppresses output from a LaTeX run. (The purpose, of course, is to check the syntax of a LaTeX file without the overhead of generating output.
The file is part of the LaTeX distribution.
