a4 – Support for A4 paper sizes

Provides support for A4 paper sizes, superseding a LaTeX 2.09 package of the same name (the package was developed from a now-extinct package called a4dutch).

The package is mostly superseded by the a4paper option of LaTeX itself and by the geometry package. Its margins are slightly narrower than those of the a4paper option (there are those that claim this is a typographically poor choice), but it also has a widemargins option.

The package is now distributed as part of the ntgclass bundle.
