Help on CTAN
Which browsers are supported by the CTAN site?
The CTAN site tries to support a broad variety of browsers and browser versions. Since browsers differ in their interpretation of the HTML standard the appearance might be slightly different. Nevertheless information and functionality are not impaired.
- Note:
- The CTAN site uses JavaScript for some functions. Thus the usability of the site is restricted if JavaScript is turned off.
The CTAN site is best used with an at least modestly modern browser version. The following version should suffice:
Browser | System | Minimal version |
---|---|---|
Firefox | any | 2.* |
Chrome | any | ? |
Epiphany | Linux | ? |
Lynx | any | ? |
Internet Explorer | Windows | 9 |
Opera | ? | |
Safari | OS X | ? |
Since we don't have all browsers and versions at hand we would be interested in your observations for browser versions not listed yet.
