This package is a new KOMA-Script spin-off. As of KOMA-Script 3.42, it replaces the lscape hack of previous KOMA-Script package scrhack, which will also be spun off from KOMA-Script. The new package is designed as an extension of packages lscape and pdflscape.

lscapeenhanced – An enhancement to the lscape and pdflscape packages
The package solves an issue with the detection of text height, e.g., by package scrlayer or showframe, when using the landscape environment of package lscape or pdflscape.
