CTAN update: CircuiTikZ

Date: August 4, 2024 8:09:05 PM CEST
Romano Giannetti submitted an update to the CircuiTikZ package. Version: 1.7.0 2024-08-03 License: lppl gpl Summary description: Draw electrical networks with TikZ Announcement text:
There are no big changes here, but the change to the resistor code (maybe one of the most used by the package) well deserves a minor version bump. There are a couple of new components and several minor fixes. - New component: new kind of current tap - New arrow tip `Jack Tap` to help draw jack connectors - Change the drawing of the thermocouple - Change and enhancement to the drawing of the American resistors, fixing a long-standing small asymmetry that nobody noticed - Minor adjustment for joins in `viscoe` component - Minor additions (`rectjoinfill`) and fixes in documentation
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/circuitikz The package’s files themselves can be inspected at https://mirrors.ctan.org/graphics/pgf/contrib/circuitikz/

CircuiTikZ – Draw electrical networks with TikZ

The package provides a set of macros for naturally typesetting electrical and (somewhat less naturally, perhaps) electronic networks.

It is designed as a tool that is easy to use, with a lean syntax, native to , and directly supporting PDF output format. It has therefore been based on the very impressive PGF/TikZ package.
