Version 1.11 of XCharter includes new Greek math alphabets that match the size and style of Charter. These are used to construct the Greek math glyphs when using the charter option to newtxmath (version 1.53 or later.)

XCharter – Extension of Bitstream Charter fonts
The package presents an extension of Bitstream Charter, which provides small caps, oldstyle figures and superior figures in all four styles, accompanied by LaTeX font support files.
The fonts themselves are provided in both Adobe Type 1 and OTF formats, with supporting files as necessary.
