With version 3.0 of datetime2-german, the Austrian numeric style adopts the DD.MM.YYYY date format. Previous versions used the ISO format YYYY-MM-DD as recommended by ÖNORM 1080 (withdrawn in May 2018). Thanks to Bernhard Waldbrunner for his merge request.

datetime2-german – German language module for the datetime2 package
This module provides the “german” style that can be set using \DTMsetstyle provided by datetime2.sty.
