tabstackengine V2.10 primarily addresses two issues: 1) horizontal rules that expand to fill the TABstack cell width are provided via \TABrule and, optionally, \TABcline{}. 2) Brace hacks have been employed to allow TABstacks to be nested inside of tabular or align environments, without the need for additional bracing. In addition, a switch has been provided to relax the syntax rules for one situation. The purpose here is not to encourage sloppy syntax, but to provide a more meaningful debugging output when strict syntax is [accidentally] not obeyed.

tabstackengine – “Tabbing” front-end to stackengine
The package provides a front end to the stackengine package, to allow tabbed stacking. In most cases, an existing stackengine command may be prepended with the word “tabbed”, “align” or “tabular” to create a new tabbed version of a stacking macro.
In addition, hooks in the package’s parser that tabbed strings of data may be parsed, extracted, and reconstituted (not requiring use of any stacking constructions).
