Geoff Riley submitted the ou-tma package. Version: 1.20 License: lppl1.3c Summary description: A package to aid in the writing of Tutor Marked Assessments for the Open University Announcement text:
After many years as a package passed around on the Open University "Live" forums, the 'home' will vanish. It is thus time for this to be given a more permanent home where others may find a use for it outside of its original cloistered environment. A TMA is a Tutor Marked Assignment, a mainstay for the British-based distance learning organisation of The Open University (OU). The OU has a worldwide catchment and caters to studies in both undergraduate and postgraduate topics in a wide range of subjects. All subjects use TMAs to monitor student progress, with many of the maths and science modules either suggesting or requiring using LaTeX for submission. The style file presented in this package has been developed over the last twenty or so years and is used extensively. I have taken over as maintainer and created a complete .dtx documentation base for the package. TMA papers are answered through a series of `question` environments, each with `qparts` and `qsubparts.` Several macros are set up to format certain mathematical elements in the manner that the OU expects to aid students in producing appropriate answers.
This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/ou-tma More information is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/ou-tma
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Manfred Lotz CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs .

ou-tma – A package to aid in the writing of Tutor Marked Assessments for the Open University

The ou-tma package simplifies the creation of TMAs (Tutor Marked Assessments) by providing an environment to encompass answers to questions, commands to enumerate parts and subparts of those questions, and a set of macros facilitating mathematical entry based on the styles used by the Open University (OU).
