The Indian TeX Users Group got revived on 7th September 2024. After 32 years this revival has taken place. The current board of directors include the following people: President: E. Krishnan <e.krshnan@gmail.com> Vice President: Rajeesh KV <rajeesh@sayahna.org> Secretary: Niranjan <niranjan.t@stmdocs.in> Joint secretary: Rahul Krishnan S <rahulkrishnan@stmdocs.in> Legal advisor: Aravind Ranjendran As the first project of TUGIndia, we are glad to release this LaTeX bundle udiss for assisting students in typesetting their dissertations.

udiss – A LaTeX bundle for typesetting dissertations
The udiss bundle is a LaTeX-class-file developed to assist students in typesetting their university dissertations. It is a collection of multiple support files. Universities often have strict requirements regarding the formatting of the dissertations/theses submitted to them. This bundle pre-supplies a generic style (university-agnostic) for creating dissertations. It also supports custom layouts required for different universities.
