CTAN update: qworld

Date: April 15, 2025 5:19:46 AM CEST
Niina Ryota submitted an update to the qworld package. Version: 1.1.1 License: lppl1.3c Summary description: Draw graphical calculus in monoidal categories and quantum theory Announcement text:
This update introduces minor feature enhancements and rendering refinements for the QWorld package. Color annotations have been extended to key diagrammatic elements: - The CAP and CUP structures now support the frame color attribute, allowing identity wires to reflect object-specific colors. - The BRAIDING structure now provides L color and R color options for independently coloring the left and right strands. In addition, the rendering of curves has been improved for greater clarity and smoother visual output. These enhancements contribute to improved diagrammatic readability and refined visual quality.
This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/graphics/pgf/contrib/qworld More information is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/qworld
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Manfred Lotz CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs .

qworld – Draw graphical calculus in monoidal categories and quantum theory

This is a package specifically designed for typesetting graphical calculus in category theory and quantum computing. Built on top of TikZ, it offers an intuitive and extensible set of commands for constructing string diagrams involving monoidal categories, Frobenius structures, braidings, Hopf algebras, symmetries, dualities, pivotal structures, and dagger categories. The package provides precise control over diagram composition and enables readable diagrammatic reasoning.
