Piet van Oostrum submitted the new version 3.1 of his fancyhdr package. It
contains a small patch to solve a problem with \verbatiminput and
\includegraphics.
fancyhdr is a package for extensive control of page headers and footers in
LaTeX. It is installed on CTAN in
macros/latex/contrib/fancyhdr

The package provides extensive facilities, both for constructing headers and footers, and for controlling their use (for example, at times when LaTeX would automatically change the heading style in use).
