CTAN Update: inputtrc
Date: October 13, 2012 1:59:42 PM CEST
Uwe Lück submitted an update to the
inputtrc
package.
Summary description: trace which file loads which
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
(i) \notracingreturns corrected, (ii) package options for immediately issuing \dotracinginputs and \dotracingreturns (should help when you learn about an input line and its number but not about the file where that is), (iii) documentation adjusted and slightly corrected.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/inputtrc . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/inputtrc (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

inputtrc – Trace which file loads which
The package produces screen/log messages of the form ‘<current> INPUTTING <next>’ reporting LaTeX input commands (<current> and <next> being file names). The message is indented to reflect the level of input nesting.
Tracing may be turned on and off, and the unit of indentation may be adjusted.
The implementation somewhat resembles those of packages FiNK and inputfile.
